Social Responsibility

Macerich takes an integrated approach to charitable giving, using a variety of resources to make a difference in the communities in which we are proud to be a part of. We strive to meet community challenges through a combination of employee volunteerism, financial support, in-kind donations and partnerships with non-profit organizations whose missions are consistent with our own vision and values. Macerich has established long-term affiliations with many prominent organizations, such as City of Hope and Salvation Army.

Recognizing our unique ability to serve women, Macerich has established a multi-faceted partnership with Step Up Women's Network, a national non-profit organization dedicated to strengthening community resources for women and girls. Through hands-on community events, fundraising and awareness vehicles at our properties, we are helping to ensure that women and girls have the tools they need to create a better future.
